Zarif made the remarks in a meeting with new Danish Ambassador to Tehran Danny Annan, who submitted his copy of credentials to the Iranian foreign minister here on Sunday.
Given the new situation resulting from the implementation of JCPOA, Zarif said there are avenues for the expansion of bilateral ties in different sectors, including economic, trade and academic fields.
Annan, for his part, underlined Denmark is willing to expand ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He pointed to the exchange of trade and economic delegations between the two countries during recent weeks and expressed Danish firms are ready to invest in Iran.
